How It Works

Ghashful’s seamless process ensures that customers can be financed and purchase mobile phones easily through a secure and reliable platform. Partnering with financial institutions like banks and micro-finance institutes, Ghashful facilitates device financing for individuals, SMEs, and corporate partners. With comprehensive verification, loan approval, and timely device delivery, Ghashful ensures a hassle-free experience for its users. Integrated with Samsung Knox Guard for added security, this platform prioritizes customer satisfaction and digital inclusion by making devices more accessible, while providing growth opportunities for both financial institutions and individuals.

Customer Application

Customer Application

Customers begin by applying for device financing through the Ghashful platform with a valid National ID (NID). Their data is sourced, including psychometric and other relevant details.

Verification and Credit Assessment

Verification and Credit Assessment

Ghashful aggregates customer data and forwards it to DBPLC for verification. DBPLC verifies the customer's NID, credit score, and eligibility for the loan. After the verification, DBPLC sends the assessment back to Ghashful, where a credit score is created from DBPLC’s response.

Loan Approval and Payment Process

Loan Approval and Payment Process

Once the customer’s loan is approved, they are notified, and the down payment is deposited into DBL's account. Upon confirmation, the remaining financing amount is disbursed into Excel's account for further processing.

Device Delivery and Status Updates

Device Delivery and Status Updates

After payment confirmation, Ghashful notifies the delivery partner to deliver the mobile device to the customer’s address. The delivery status is updated to all relevant partners, including Samsung and the aggregator platform.

Samsung Integration

Samsung Integration

The device is registered in Samsung’s Knox Guard for security purposes. If customers miss their EMI payments, Samsung Knox Guard activates a lock on the device until the overdue payments are settled.
